Solar Attic Vent Fans
An Attic Vent Fan allows the excess heat in the attic to be properly vented out of the attic. Without the installation of the fan, excess heat in the attic can enter into the house by process of convection. Depending on the situation and attic size three Attic Vent Fan options are available for installation.

Eco Sun Systems - Solar Roof Mounted Fan Solar Roof Mounted Fan:
The Solar Roof Mounted Fan is the suggested device to install with the system, using solar energy to power the extra ventilation needed in the attic for the removal of hot air. The fan is located near the highest point in the attic where the hot air is collected. The exact location of the fan is designated by a trained professional to allow for the best ventilation relative to the attic's configuration. The roofing in the area of the fan is removed, and trimmed to fit the fan properly. Then the Solar Fan is securely attached to the roof and the roofing snuggly secured around it.
Eco Sun Systems - Solar Gable Fan Solar Gable Fan:
A Solar Gable Fan uses solar energy to power the fan that is located next to the gable vent location. The surrounding gable area is then sealed to ensure proper ventilation. The solar panel which is connected to the fan is attached to the roof where it will collect power to run the fan.
Eco Sun Systems - Direct Power Gable Fan Direct Power Gable Fan:
A Direct Power Gable Fan can only be installed if a power outlet is available in the attic. The direct power gable fan is installed on the gable vent and connected by a power cord to the outlet within the attic. The thermostat ensures the fan only operates when the attic temperature is above 115°F.
