Blown Cellulose Description
The insulation levels in most homes are extremely inadequate at preventing the temperatures experienced in your attic to seep in your home. Unless your home was built in the past year insulation requirements and implemented practices by installers only provided insulation levels that would inhibit attic temperatures of 80° F through 40° F to affect the temperatures in your home. Most installers of blown insulation on new homes were poorly checked for quality and made their money on quantity leaving most areas of the attic under insulated because they might be hard to reach or they had another job they had to get to. Many homes have rolled bat insulation which leaves gaps between rafters and small spaces that allows the heated air in the attic to come in direct contact with the sheetrock of your ceiling. All of these factors result in increased costs of both heating and cooling of your house. The Blown Cellulose Insulation we install acts like sand filling any and all empty spaces forming a complete seal over your attic. When we install the insulation we ensure that the level of insulation meets a minimum of R36 as compared to the average R12 to R18 found most commonly in attics across Arizona. Blown Cellulose Insulation is used over fiberglass due to its eco-friendly production and safety qualities. Unlike fiberglass that has a cancer warning on the label and irritating properties. Blown Cellulose Insulation is made from recycled paper products and additives that make it fire retardant, unpleasant to pests, and non toxic to humans.
